Why Post a Sign?

It has been said that every act of hatred should be met with an act of love and unity. When hate groups speak out, people who are the targets of their prejudice often feel alone and fearful. They wonder if lots of people agree with the sentiments of the hate group or if people even care. It is said that "Silence is Acceptance." Posting a sign is a public expression that you do not agree with those who would declare intolerance, hate and even violence for those of different abilities, beliefs, culture, race or sexual orientation. It offers a vision of a community where all are welcome and treasured as human beings.
